The Final of the 2008 Newsletter sponsored Andrew Knighton cup will be between Stone and Milford Hall. Three time winners Stone had an excellent win against Premier Leaguehigh flyers Leek. Batting first Stone amassed 167-7 of their 16 eight ball overs. Andrew Keatestop scored with 32 he was supported by a quickfire 28 from Stone Sri Lankan Pro Tyron Gamage. Rob King returned figures of 3-19. King capped a good all round performance with 39. This however was the highlight for Leek as they could only reach 143-7. Chris Banks was the key bowler for Stone with 3-13. 2006 winners Milford reach the final after seeing of local rivals Stafford, they will be looking to build on their good league form with professional Ronnie Hira producing some excellent performances.
